they say,
have no expectations
and you will not be disappointed…
I say,
what is a life with no expectations,
a meaningless one.
expectations provides us with goals,
a fuel to continue to grow…
through the disappointment,
the deepest levels of flourishing can occur.
only if,
standing unwavered by the failed expectations…
expectations are meant to change,
be molded,
but never not existent.
